EDIT: I think this might be a new fun weekly game. I re-create album art, you guess what it is. i just made another, it's not nearly as awesome as this one, in fact, its down right horrible, but that's only because I am not a graphic designer, and create all things in power point. yep.

Today totally caught up with me. work's been crazy, i need to do laundry and pack before I leave tomorrow, (kashi just farted, and it smells AWFUL) (Haley witnessed it) I have projects I'm working on, i need to pack, and get ready to move (luckily the girl moving in loves the color of my room, and doesn't want me to paint it back) I need to figure out how to make 200 mini pies in exactly a month from today for haley's wedding without wanting to kill myself. My dad's coming for a visit next weekend, house buying stuff is a headache, i feel like i haven't seen most of my circle friends all summer, there is alot of beer and butter in my fridge, i got through one box of my stuff in the basement, and realized its going to take forever to go through everything, AHHH! I'm back to the single life. Sometimes it's better to go to bed early, and wake up early to get things done, versus staying up late. I was having problems sleeping last week, so i got some melatonin, and it seemed to help. i bought the most exciting amount of glitter in the most amazing colors today and it's only wednesday. I'm leaving tomorrow and won't be back til Tues AM, so blogging might be light.

These salt ponds reside just outside the SF bay area. Micro-organisms change their hue to match the salinity of the ponds, creating the range of colors.

Hanna Andersson

I remember as a kid, absolutely LOVING when my mom got the Hanna Andersson catalog in the mail. I'd pour over it and cut out what I wanted and make a collage out of it. Looking at their website years later it's not as beautiful as I remember. Everything I had used to be floral, and stripes, and they were all about prints, and good prints at that. I was a little let down.

I ALWAYS had a pair of clogs. I remember a ditsy print, and a navy blue pair.

I also wore these swedish slippers, but again- mine were that red, swedish floral print.

and tights! I had about 10 pairs of Hanna Andersson tights (I actually still have a couple pairs) Which were so awesome. My favorite combo were these red and white striped tights, under a dark blue denim dress, and my floral clogs. I need to find some pictures.

Herman Miller

We all love Herman Miller (at least, if you're reading this blog i hope you do) I just watched this 3 minute video they made about working for their company. It's cute, and makes me love them even more.

skylines

These are the 3 skylines that I've spent the most time around.





I can't explain what it is, but i love the Philadelphia skyline. Something about coming into the city on an airplane, or a car over the bridge, evokes this incredible beautiful feeling inside. It feels like home.
