as I made my daily rounds on the FP site to see what's new, I saw a sweater I've been eyeing and decided to actually take a peek. beyond loving the sweater I'm actually really liking the model's hair! I've been considering growing my bangs out all summer (humidity + curly hair + straight bangs= disaster) but think I look dumb with out them so I have yet to do it. With some rough encouragement from the peanut gallery this last week on vacation, and the inspiration from this photo, I may grow them out..and cut my hair??? I don't know I am ready for something new, but have been growing it out for so longgggggggggggggggggggg. i would keep it my natural color obvs.

I guess it's time I let you know: I'm moving! Just back to Fishtown, but out of the Keenan household which is sad and hard. They've been my place to land for the past couple of years when I was transitioning out of Philly, then whenever I came back to visit and most recently when I was transitioning back into Philly. Not a day goes by that I don't think about the 3 little faces of Ru, Jane and Penny. Those girls means as much to me as my own siblings. Lois and I were always close, but this time around I really connected with Jesse and I'm glad to be leaving knowing we have a solid friendship too. While it's only a mile away, in our world it's too far. Here's to sleepovers, dinner parties and spontaneous drop ins..I love you!!!!

I took a week off recently and had my little sister out for a visit. We took a mini road trip around the east coast and saw Philly, NYC, Boston & Martha's Vineyard. I couldn't of had a better time if I tried. She got to meet John, and I got to see old friends and even make a new one.

The Portland Collection

I have a long standing love affair with Pendleton. Growing up in the NW and moving back as an adult, the eternally classic woolen mill continues to grow and be relevant in these modern times. They teamed with 3 Portland designers (2 of which do church & state, the other has his own men's line, but all friends!) for this particular line, set to debut this month! It will be available here in Philly at Arcadia Boutique and Sugarcube. I certainly can not wait to see it in person!
